This Privacy Policy explains how Zayy (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our Discord bot and related services. We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy.

Zayy stores only the minimum data required to provide its features. This may include:

• Discord User IDs — to associate settings, warnings, AFK status, and preferences.
• Guild (Server) IDs — to store server-specific configurations like prefixes, autoroles, and security settings.
• Channel IDs — to remember where logs, welcomes, suggestions, and tickets should be sent.
• Role IDs — for autorole configurations and permission-based features.
• Command preferences — such as custom prefixes and feature toggles set by administrators.

We do not permanently store message content. Messages are processed in real-time to execute commands and are not retained unless explicitly required for a specific feature (such as message logs, which are configurable and transparent to server members).

All data collected by Zayy is used exclusively to provide and improve the Service. This includes: executing commands, applying server configurations, enforcing moderation actions, and generating logs as configured by server administrators. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the Service.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal data with third parties. We may disclose information only when required by law, such as to comply with a valid legal process, court order, or government request. We may share aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify any individual user for analytical purposes.

Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Service. If Zayy is removed from a server, associated configuration data may be retained for a short period to allow for seamless re-invitation, after which it is permanently deleted. Users may request deletion of their stored data at any time by contacting us.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include secure database hosting, encrypted connections, and access controls. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Zayy may interact with third-party services and APIs to provide certain features. These include but are not limited to:

• Discord API — for core bot functionality.
• GitHub — for repository information.
• Spotify — for music integration.
• Last.fm — for scrobble and listening data.
• Roblox — for profile lookups.
• TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms — for profile and media lookups.

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, and request deletion of your data. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to verification of your identity.

Zayy is not directed at children under the age of 13, in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of Zayy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
